A Personal Note from the Author

The Storm Has Calmed, and the Book is Coming.

You might not know me. And I might not know you.

For years, I’ve always thought to myself that there is a book inside of me, and this is finally my time to tell my truth and explain why I am the way I am. To be honest, this process has been very slow. I’ve been saying to people that I’m going to start writing a book for about three years now, but life and personal things kept getting in the way. I had to put the writing process to one side for a while. But now, the storm has calmed, and I can finally focus on getting this book ready for you to read.

Like I said, you might not know me. But then again, you might. And if you do know me, you are not going to expect these stories to come out. This is not going to be an easy read. Some parts are going to be hard to understand, and some parts will be genuinely hard to read but through it all, you will finally understand why I am the way I am.

People have asked me multiple times recently, "How is the writing process going?"

What I keep telling them is this: throughout our lives, we always put things into boxes. We take the good memories and the bad memories, pack them away, and just leave them behind in the time that they happened. But doing this book means I am having to look through those boxes, good or bad, and really force myself to remember all those little details. Some boxes are really easy to go over. Others have been incredibly hard to deal with. But in a lot of ways, it has been a positive, healing process one that I am still working through slowly, but I am getting there.

I just wanted to open up and explain to you that the book is officially on its way. Thank you for stepping onto this page, and thank you for waiting to read my story.
